Message from Intercare

Dear Stella and the members of the Wollaton Park,

I hope you are well during these strange times. I understand it must be difficult right now as events have been cancelled or postponed to next year and you must miss gathering to make a difference for those you support. Things are starting to ease and let’s hope it gets better so next year we will all be together again.

Thank you

Here at Inter Care, we are all thinking of you as we looked forward to possibility of seeing you again before Christmas.

We really enjoyed seeing you in October 2019 and we are excited about the potential opportunity of seeing you again next year. As we are not able to visit and update you with our recent activity and plans for the remainder of 2020,

I have summarised the details below for your interest.

The pandemic has not stopped us

In July 2020, we were able to send our second container to Malawi which contained 100% donated surplus medical supplies worth a massive £127,000 (full details of the story are attached)!

This was such an exciting time for us all at Inter Care as, during the UK lockdown, the borders were closed, and we were unable to send any vital medical aid to Africa. We are so relieved to be back and continue with our mission to saving lives in sub-Saharan Africa. As part of our mission, we are continuously uploading news and success stories to our social media platforms. We are sharing ways in which £10, £50, and £100 gift packages can support our beneficiaries. We also aim to launch our legacy campaign in October. And don’t forget… our Big Give Christmas Challenge will take place in December 2020. The perfect opportunity for your donations to be matched during the biggest week in Inter Care’s calendar.

The Inter Care Community are still making a difference

We are excited to announce that the Inter Care community can still work together virtually.

We are running a campaign right now called “Will you help us care?” and this is receiving some great response and donations from new donors which is great news. With this campaign, we have launched a new fundraising pack to support individuals and community groups such as yourself. This means that together, we can raise funds virtually. I have attached the pack for your interest.

If you would like to fundraise for us, you could save your hard-earned donations for the biggest week in December, meaning you will have the chance for your donations to be doubled!

“You provide the fun so we can provide the care”

For more information, support in planning your event or to request a hard copy of the fundraising pack, please do not hesitate to email me at fundraising@intercare.org.uk

Fundraising Guide

You are part of a big community

Thank you kindly inviting us to your fundraising event each year and continuously supporting us because…...You are part of a wonderful community of dedicated charitable giving organisations. We are proud to be supported by you. Together in our relatively small yet effective way, we help to keep some of the most vulnerable people in the world alive and healthy.

Thank you for your continued support in 2020 and beyond!
